Created exclusively for The Argyle by New York Casting Director and Producer Stephen DeAngelis, the cast will recreate their most memorable musical moments and career highlights as well as demonstrate their versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question-and–answer session with the audience. Broadway Family Favorites is a family-friendly celebration of musical theatre with something for audience members of all ages whether it be toe-tapping tunes, clever lyrics or charismatic characters. This all-new concert event will be created and hosted by Stephen DeAngelis exclusively for our audience and will showcase the talents of five of Broadway's finest vocalists who will illuminate the stage with songs from classic and contemporary musicals based on timeless children's stories and animated films. The performance will include musical selections from Frozen; The Sound of Music; Annie; Mary Poppins; The Little Mermaid; The King and I; The Lion King; Matilda The Musical; The Wizard of Oz; Wicked; Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella; Beauty and the Beast; Peter Pan; Finding Neverland; You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and more!!! Scheduled performers are Emily Bautista (Kim in Miss Saigon; Eponine in Les Miserables; Elodie in HBO'S "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin"), Todd Buonopane (Jean-Michel in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella; Roger in Grease; Amos Hart in Chicago; The 25th Anual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Sara Jean Ford (Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera; Jellylorum in Cats; Smitty in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying; A Little Night Music; Finian's Rainbow); 2X Tony Award nominee and 2X Drama Desk Award winner Gavin Lee (original Bert in Mary Poppins; original Squidward in SpongeBob SquarePants The Musical; Thernardier in Les Miserables) and Teal Wicks (Elphaba in Wicked; Cher ["Lady"] in The Cher Show; Mary Barrie in Finding Neverland; Emma Carew in Jekyll & Hyde). The concert will also include an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with the audience. It's a perfect way to introduce younger audience members to the stage and to create and share new memories.

EMILY BAUTISTA

EMILY BAUTISTA is best known for her portrayal of Kim in Miss Saigon both in the show's most recent Broadway revival and on the company's National tour. She also starred as Eponine in the the North American touring company of Les Misérables. Most recently she has been seen in London at the Hackney Empire in the world premiere of Vanara the musical and as Lenina in the developmental reading of the musical adaptation of Brave New World. Current television credits include Elodie in “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”.

TODD BUONOPANE

TODD BUONOPANE is an actor, singer and educator. He has appeared on Broadway as Jean-Michel in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Roger in Grease, Amos in Chicago and many characters in ...Spelling Bee. He has toured the U.S. with The Play That Goes Wrong, Godspell and Chicago (which he has also done in Dubai, Seoul and Tokyo). Off-Broadway credits include The Butter & Egg Man, Henry & Mudge, and The New Yorkers at City Center Encores! Regionally, he has performed at the Alliance, The Old Globe, Asolo Rep, MUNY, Signature, Pasadena Playhouse, 5th Avenue, Ordway, Papermill Playhouse, Goodspeed, Maine State and Barrington. TV credits include roles on “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”, “Braindead”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”, and “30 Rock” (as Weinerslav). Todd is a proud graduate of The University of Michigan. He is the creator and star of a quarantine project called #BathtubTheatre.

GAVIN LEE

GAVIN LEE recently returned from playing Lumiere in the revival of Disney's Beauty and the Beast in London's West End. Prior to that, he starred as The Grinch in Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas at Madison Square Garden. He received a Tony Award nomination and won the Drama Desk Award for originating the role of Squidward Q. Tentacles in SpongeBob SquarePants,the Broadway Musical. He has also played Thenadier in the Broadway revival of Les Miserables. He originated the role of Bert in the West End and Broadway productions of Mary Poppins for which he was Olivier and Tony Award nominated as well as winning a Drama Desk and Theatre World Award. While in NYC Gavin has appeared at Carnagie Hall in Showboat and in the World Premier of Holiday Inn at Goodspeed Opera House. On TV, he has guest starred in "Law and Order: SVU" and "The Good Wife". He was seen as a regular in the final season of "White Collar". His other London credits include leading roles in Top Hat, Crazy For You, Peggy Sue Got Married, Me and My Girl, Over My Shoulder, Oklahoma! and Contact. His regional theatre credits include Singin’ In The Rain, Snoopy, Noel Coward’s Masterpieces, Of Thee I Sing, Saturday Night, Alan Ayckbourn’s Whenever and Chicago.

TEAL WICKS

TEAL WICKS burst onto the musical theater scene in 2008 when she snagged the role of Elphaba in the Los Angeles company of Wicked, a role she reprised to critical acclaim in the San Francisco company before making the leap to the Broadway company. She most recently starred as Cher ("Lady") in the Broadway production of The Cher Show. She originated the role of Mary Barrie opposite Matthew Morrison in Finding Neverland and re-created the role of Emma Carew in the revival of Jekyll and Hyde. Other New York stage credits include Piece of My Heart: the Bert Berns Story at Signature Theatre, The Blue Flower at Second Stage, NY City Center Encores! Stairway to Paradise, Fahrenheit 451 at 59E59. Teal starred in the National tours of Jekyll and Hyde and Pippin as well as various regional productions at Two River Theater, Goodspeed Musicals, A.R.T., Theatreworks, and Bay Street Theatre. She has been a guest star on “Chicago Justice” “Elementary” and “The Good Wife”. Teal has appeared in numerous concerts across New York City including two celebrated solo concerts at 54 Below. She can be heard on The Cher Show (Original Broadway Cast Recording); The Ballad of Little Jo (Original Cast Recording), Finding Neverland (Original Broadway Cast Recording), You Never Heard My Song: the music of Brad Ross, and Jekyll and Hyde 2012 Concept Album. In 2011, Teal was awarded the honor of Distinguished Alumna of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, UC Irvine.

STEPHEN DeANGELIS

is thrilled to return to The Argyle Theatre. He has produced over 300 different Broadway concerts at venues in New York and across the United States featuring a multitude of Broadway stars including many Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winners and nominees, stars from hit television series and films whose roots are on stage and Broadway's fastest rising young performers. Throughout his career, he has worked with over 100,000 performers across all entertainment mediums. He is also the Producing Artistic Director and Host of At This Performance... , the critically acclaimed concert series that has showcased the talents of over 1100 Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates since October 2003. His work as a Producer of the ongoing series was acknowledged in BroadwayWorld's List of "Best Club, Cabaret and Concert for 2021". He has cast over 3600 network television and radio commercials for Manhattan's leading advertising agencies and has contributed to many historic and award-winning spots and campaigns including many which have been recognized with Platinum, Gold and Silver Lions at Cannes. Stephen also cast the six-time Emmy Award nominated Playhouse Disney series “Johnny and the Sprites” which was seen on the Disney Channel. His work has been seen in New York and regionally in over 300 theatrical productions for companies as well as numerous festival showcases, developmental workshops and readings. Stephen is a proud member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and has staged musicals in major theatres across the country in Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Dallas and St. Louis and throughout New York and New England. Stephen is the Producing Artistic Director of the new Pocono Center for the Arts which is scheduled to open in early 2024. He has worked with Actors, Singers, Dancers, Directors, Choreographers, Composers, Lyricists and Playwrights who have been recognized with Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, Primetime Emmy, Daytime Emmy, Academy, Olivier, Grammy, Golden Globe, Pulitzer Prize Awards and Kennedy Center Honors nominations and wins.
